Single Storey Extension

A modest extension of a bungalow providing a new multi purpose utility room, extended kitchen area with breakfast bar and dining space overlooking the garden…

Role: Architectural Designer / Planning Co-ordinator / Building Regulation Co-Ordinator

Instructed by the homeowner to design a modest rear extension that wraps around the side of this bungalow to create a new usable space and provide additional space to the existing adjoining kitchen.

Due to the dual aspect of the existing corner plot this extension could not be built under the existing permitted development rights so planning permission was required.

The new extension had to work really hard for itself to provide the Client with not only an extended kitchen area with breakfast bar but also a new bathroom / utility space with toilet, integrated sinks and fitted joinery to house a washing machine and tumble dryer. The remaining space created provide room for a dining table and seating area both overlooking the existing garden; accessible from new double doors on to a small patio with steps down to the garden.

Design

Offering a full design package, we create a concept based around the client brief adding our own experience to provide every component required to make the design a reality. Through our design expertise we will provide a solution that both meets your needs and goes beyond your imagination.

Detailed Plans

Once a client agrees the design then we will put together the layers of drawings and information required to form a complete drawing pack; allowing the design to move into the construction phase.
